Grammar School at Leeds.
The new state of the art facility will be created following the merger of two of the city’s most prestigious schools - Leeds Grammar School and Leeds Girl High School. Work is already well underway, with an expected completion date of September 2008. The flagship development will see the existing buildings at Alwoodley Gates extended to accommodate a new junior school and sixth form in addition to new classrooms including science, technology, IT, music rooms and two new theatres. The school will also benefit from improved sporting facilities, including a new four court sports hall, two all weather pitches and new tennis courts.
