Wintringham Oasis Academy.
Three storey ‘U’ shaped plan incorporating Agora’s (taken from the Greek word for enclosed meeting spaces). Shimmering stainless steel cladding with internal courtyard with colonnade access. Built on the playing fields of an existing school site with minimum disruption to the existing school which will be demolished upon completion of the new facilities. Designed to achieve BREEAM “Very Good” rating, using sustainable technology and materials maximising natural ventilation and day lighting. Will achieve 15% improvement on current statutory requirements in terms of energy usage.
