Byker Masterplan.
Our masterplan to create a civic quarter in Byker, a sprawling suburb of Newcastle, included identifying a suitable site for the scheme. By creating separate sites for retail anchors at either end of Shields Road, we strengthened the centre of the scheme, which incorporates a swimming pool, library and extensive healthcare facilities.
