Valley View.

All of the new apartments on the Valley View site in Heptonstall are designed to comply with current Housing Corporation (now HCA) Scheme Development Standards (S.D.S) and will achieve an Eco-Homes rating of “very good”. 4 have been designed as fully compliant specialist wheelchair units. The Valley View site is located in the conservation area and the scale, elevational treatment, roofline, detailing and material choice have been carefully considered in order to fit well with the local vernacular.

In response to the topography the buildings have also been designed in a “back to earth” format where the main courtyard elevations facing east are generally 3 storeys, whereas the Hepton Drive and Longfield facades facing west and south appear 2 storey.
